CUSTOM DESIGNED
Kitchens & baths

Everything good starts with a dream and a great plan. Jacqueline Mead designed kitchens before HGTV made flipping houses a thing. She knew that people didn't want cookie cutter pre-fab or job-built quality cabinets and so she decided to change things.

With an interior design degree from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, she set out to learn everything she could about the two most important rooms in every household, kitchens and baths.

She honed her craft working for Houston builders whose clients didn't want ordinary cookie-cutter galley kitchens. Redesigning the footprint of these rooms gave her the innate ability to put together cabinet designs with wow factor.

Eventually, she ventured out on her own, a woman in a man's world at the time, and created what is now Jacqueline Mead Designs.

Jacquie was one of the first women certified by the Texas Institute of Building Designers where she learned to design whole house plans. This led her to design a number of beautiful custom homes and room additions for discerning home owners.

While she enjoyed building homes, she decided to work as a kitchen and bath design specialist.

In 2017, our company was integral in helping put homes back together after Hurricane Harvey. Many of her prior customers came back to reimagine their homes with new kitchens and baths. It was a tough time for everyone, but we saw our projects through to a happy ending.

What can we help you reimagine? Whether you are remodeling a fixer upper or starting with a fresh new home construction, Jacqueline Mead Designs can bring design and cabinetry excellence to your project.

THE PROCESS

Step one

ONSITE CONSULTATION

Please contact us to arrange a suitable time to meet for an onsite consultation. During this time we will discuss the layout, design possibilities and options along with your accessory preferences. We will go over the material and finish options, colors, wood species and innovative new products on the market.

Step two

PREPARATION & SUPPLY OF QUOTE

Following the consultation we will contract to do design work, prepare a detailed cabinetry quote including the options discussed. In some instances we will also supply a rough 3D PDF drawing to illustrate the plans that connect to the supplied quote.

For more detailed projects we can include plumbing and electrical take-off plans.

Once a quote has been accepted we proceed to produce all drawings and plans which require customer approval prior to manufacturing to ensure it is exactly what you want. This is also the final stage to lock in selections, colors and finishes.

Step three

BUILDING & INSTALLING

All cabinetry is manufactured and assembled in our manufacturer's factory. Once the construction is completed we then arrange a time to book installation. Depending on the size of the job this can take several hours to several days. We will discuss timeframes in detail prior to booking installation.

When onsite we ensure we leave a clean and tidy workspace and ensure customers are 100% happy with their new cabinets prior to leaving.
